PEMBERIAN REWARD DAN PUNISHMENT UNTUK MENINGKATKAN KEDISIPLINAN SISWA DALAM PEMBELAJARAN IPS KELAS V SD NEGERI 1 KEJOBONG PURBALINGGA Penulis 1: PRAMUDYA IKRANAGARA (3) Abstrak Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan kedisiplinan siswa dengan pemberian reward dan punishment dalam pembelajaran IPS kelas kelas V SD Negeri 1 Kejobong Purbalingga. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas. Model penelitian yang digunakan adalah model siklus Kemmis-Taggart. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas V SD N 1 Kejobong Purbalingga, berjumlah 31 siswa, terdiri dari 21 siswa laki-laki dan 10 siswa perempuan. Objek penelitian adalah kedisiplinan siswa dalam pembelajaran IPS. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan metode observasi, dokumentasi, dan catatan lapangan.

Manfaat kedisiplinan siswa Manfaat kedisiplinan adalah membuat siswa menjadi lebih tertib dan teratur dalam menjalankan kehidupannya, serta siswa juga dapat mengerti bahwa kedisiplinan itu amat sangat penting bagi masa depannya kelak, karena dapat membangun kepribadian siswa yang kokoh dan bisa diharapkan berguna bagi semua pihak.
Teknik analisis data menggunakan statistik deskriptif kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kedisiplinan siswa dalam pembelajaran IPS kelas V SD Negeri 1 Kejobong Purbalingga meningkat setelah diberikan tindakan dengan pemberian reward dan punishment. Pemberian reward berupa pujian, penghormatan, pemberian hadiah, dan tanda penghargaan. Pemberian punishment berupa punishment preventif dan punishment represif. Rata-rata kedisiplinan siswa setelah diberikan tindakan pada siklus I 74,52% dan pada siklus II 87,62%.
Rata-rata kedisiplinan tersebut sudah sesuai dengan kriteria keberhasilan yang ditentukan oleh peneliti. Average disciplinary action up to the student after the first cycle of 74.52% and 87.62% in the second cycle. Average discipline it is consistent with the success criteria specified by the researcher.
