The station will be saved. EG to save Radio 1 as Preset station 1, play Radio 1, Press PRG/MEM, then press number 1.

So he can use it as an alarm clock and a radio at the same time. Very easy to use and my boy get a hold easily of what button to press.

This is not rechargeable or battery operated, but mains powered. Also this is not a DAB radio.

It is a conventional tuner radio. Sound quality is decent.
